For a number of years Twins Trust has offered research bursaries jointly with the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society (BMFMS). 

The 2018/2019 bursary was awarded to two people. 

Dr Brenda Narice from the University of Sheffield who will be exploring novel techniques for the prediction of spontaneous preterm birth in multiple pregnancies.

And to Lindsay Kindinger of the Institute for Women's Health, University College London, who will investigate quantitative fetal fibronectin, cervical length and vaginal microbiota. This was awarded in memory of Eva Boyle, a much-missed, forever-loved twin. 

Twins Trust and the BMFMS will soon announce the 2020/2021 research bursary criteria.
