You did it!

Twenty-one of you took to the streets of London on Sunday to run 10k (around six miles) for Twins Trust.

This was the highest number of people we’ve ever had running for us in this event, with one runner taking part just four months after having her twins.

Wow, what an incredible achievement – having twins and running!

In fact, all our runners had a story to tell and the money raised will go to different areas of Twins Trust’s work – our Bereavement Support GroupTTTS research and registry and campaigning.

Whilst the money is still coming in, we estimate that more than £9,000 has been raised.

For some runners, it was their first ever race. Matt, said signing up to the event had given him focus.

“If I didn’t have the looming prospect of 10km around central London, I am not sure I would have gone out jogging twice a week, because it’s just easier not to.

“The race was brilliantly organised and the support along the route - including people calling out for Twins Trust - gave a much-need boost.

Finishing in 58 minutes, he added: “It also meant I was able to run past the major London landmarks without having to do the actual marathon.”

Twin mum Caroline, who raised an incredible £1,500 and completed the race in 53 minutes, said: “Thank you to all who sponsored me. On nights when a G&T seemed much more appealing, your support got me out training.”

How much you raise is up to you – we ask that a minimum of £150 comes our way.
