If you’re an avid Coronation Street fan, you may be aware that the popular character, Gemma Winter, is about to find out that she’s expecting more than one baby. Oh, and it’s not twins, or triplets, Gemma is going to find out she’s expecting quads!

On our screens over the next couple of weeks we’re going to watch a soap character go for a scan at the hospital to reveal four tiny heartbeats. The characters Gemma and Chesney have had a turbulent relationship to date so we’re sure the news of quads will provide viewers with some humorous moments as well as highlighting some of the challenges parents of multiples face.

We’re intrigued to see how for the first time in soap land (well we think so anyway!) producers will film with four babies on the set at one time!

We’re really excited to follow Gemma and Chesney’s pregnancy story and look forward to the pair welcoming the quadruplets to the Cobbles in December this year.
